Cheifetz has advised U.S. and European companies operating in Canada. He has presented seminars across the United States on doing business in Canada on behalf of the Government of Ontario, and he has lectured for the U.S. Small Business Administration on the Canada–U.S. Free Trade Agreement. He has also served on the boards of directors of several U.S. and European companies with Canadian operations.
